From January to December 2024, the national production of machine-made paper and paperboard was 158.469 million tons, an increase of 8.6% year-on-year. This is the first time that China's paper and paperboard production has exceeded 150 million tons since statistics were available, setting a new record!

In December 2024, the national production of machine-made paper and paperboard was 14.409 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.9%, and the monthly output increased by about 640,000 tons from November. The monthly output also set a new record.
